Pasta with the Pilchards
Prep. Time: 35 minutes
Ingredients:
-400 gr. of Maccheroni or Bucatini (kind of pasta) - 4 Sardines -2 salt down
anchovies -400 gr. of peeled
tomatoes -100 gr. of onions -3 spoons of oil of best-quality -40 gr. of coarse
salt -black pepper.
Directions:
Remove the head, interior and the backbone, from Sardines. Wash and dry. Wash
and dry the salt down anchovies, too. Chop the onion and brown with oil, and
after 2/3 minutes add the breaking up anchovy. Cook over high heat. Lower the
heat and add the Sardines, until browned. Drain and add the peeled tomatoes,
and cook over a medium heat for 20 minutes and then toss with cooked spaghetti
and the black pepper. Stir and serve.
