Margherita
"Picchio Pacchio"

Ingredients:
-500 gr. of “Margherita” (kind of pasta) -1kg. of mature tomatoes –1/2
onion -1 clove of garlic -basil -Oil -salt and pepper.
Directions:
Dip in the hot water the tomatoes and remove the peel and seeds and set aside
the juice. In a frying pan with oil, brown the onion cut thinly with the garlic.
Add the breaking up tomato, cook some minutes and add the juice of tomato.
Flavour with salt, pepper and basil. Cook for 6/8 minutes over moderate heat.
Boil the water, add salt and cook the pasta. Drain and then toss with the sauce.
