“Zuccata”

Prep. Time: 4 hours    Difficulty: Low

 

Ingredients: -1 kg. of yellow pumpkin -1 kg. of sugar -cinnamon -salt.

Directions: Place the pumpkin into a container full of salt-water for 1 hour. After that, with other water, clean to the salt and drain it for 5 hours. When it is ready, cut it in a large pieces. Put it in a pot with an equal quantitative of sugar and cinnamon. Cook until the sugar will be absorbed. Cool and serving platters in table.
