Frosted Cassata

Prep. Time: 40 minutes    Difficulty: High

 

Makes 6 servings

Ingredients: -300 gr. of ice cream -200 gr. of strawberry -200 gr. of pistachio nut -100 gr. of cream -100 gr. of Sponge-cake Rum.

Directions: Take a stamp of steel or aluminium in the shape of dome. Cover inside with a layer of cream of the thickness of 2 cm, ice cream of strawberry, remaining ice cream, and the pistachio nut ice cream. Add at the end the Sponge-cake soaked with the average glass of Rum and finally cream.  Arranged the stamp in refrigerator for 24 hours. Cut to pieces before serving in table.
