“Buccellato”

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients: 300 gr. of flour -125 gr. of butter -50 gr. of sugar a few of wine Marsala -300 gr. of buckets fig -200 gr. of raisins -100 gr. of sultana raisin -50 gr. of crack walnuts -30 gr. of pine-peed -30 gr. of orange candied peel -50 gr. of sweetened -3 cloves.

Directions: Work the flour with the butter, the sugar and the Marsala. Let stand for an hour and after roll dough out. Prepared in the meantime the filling: combine buckets fig, raisin, sultana raisin, pine-peed, orange candied peel, sweetened, cloves and pepper. Breaking up all stirring with a little sugar. Spread filling over dough, and roll up in ring-shaped, make on it some small cuts. Dredge with egg yolk and put into an oven for twenty minutes. Cool. Dust with icing sugar, pieces of pistachio nut and candied fruits.
