Meat with gravy

Ingredients:
-600
gr. of meat of veal cut to slices -600 gr. of potato -6 tomatoes -1 onion -Oil
of best-quality -salt and pepper -basil.
Directions:
In a pot, make layer of meat, potatoes cut to slices, the tomatoes cut to pieces,
the chopped onion, salt, pepper, basil and origan. Repeat. Add oil. Cook over a
moderate flame for 30 minutes, adding, every so often, little of water. Serve
warm.
